Licensing Trade Secrets with Patents Under U.S. Law

He is the Past President of The Licensing Executives Society International and The Licensing Executives Society (U.S.A. and Canada, Inc.) Prior to joining Ocean Tomo, he was engaged in the private practice of intellectual property law and licensing for 35 years as a senior member of the firm of Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione in Chicago, Illinois, where he was Chair of the Licensing Practice Group. His law practice concentrated in IP litigation, patent analysis and due diligence, licensing and general IP counseling. He has served as an expert witness in patent and trade secret litigation, and as an arbitrator in international licensing disputes.
